Counter-Strike: Condition Zero contains numerous downscaled Half-Life 2 textures from a version prior to the Leak. These aren't the only ones, but these numbered series of textures have an advantage.
Counter-Strike: Condition Zero contains many early Half-Life 2 textures that predate the leak. Below is a selection of textures from Condition Zero and their Half-Life 2 equivalents.


When Half-Life 2's textures were converted, they did so in a useful way. The numbers are their position in the folder that was converted in alphabetical order. This means that not only do we have the textures, we know their relative positions as well. This allows insight into how the texture folders changed, and helps confirm if certain textures are a match.
The added numbers underneath each texture (eg +4, +5, etc.) show how many textures exist between each texture. For example, concretefloor008a and cncrt010 are 4 textures down from concretefloor004a and cncrt014 respectively, meaning the difference is +4.  


The numbers indicate how many &quot;places&quot; are between each row of textures. When they are inconsistent, this indicates the texture order has undergone changes. This doesn't work if the texture &quot;series&quot; (metalwall --&gt; metalladder, IE) changes, which is indicated by a &quot;Series break&quot; row.
When the number of textures between each match from Condition Zero and Half-Life 2 differs (eg cncrt027 and cncrt038 versus concretefloor016a and concretefloor023a,) it can be assumed that the order of textures were changed during development.
