The Glock is a weapon in Half-Life, also referred to as the "9mm Handgun" internally. Throughout the development of Half-Life, it got its own fair share of changes. While throughout development the weapon was always a Glock, visually it's one of the weapons that was changed the most.

Version 1: 0.52 Alpha

The earliest version of the weapon appeared in the 0.52 Alpha, being held by a scientist's sleeve.


Version 2: 0.61 Alpha/SDK

0.52 Pistol given a reload

Version 3: Beta

New blocky grey mesh that looks closer to a real Glock. Red arms, reload is much more elaborate.

Version 4: E3 1998

Orange arms.

Version 5: Retail

More realistic textures, higher polygon mesh

Version 5.5: Gearbox

-Messed up UVs, raised on Adrian and Barney's rigs
